tanstaafl. carpal tunnel Registered: 08/07/1999 Posts: 5539 Loc: Ajijic, Mexico	Apparently I was careless and didn't uncheck some default box somewhere or other when installing a piece of software, and now my Firefox header is polluted by a toolbar I don't want but apparently asked for, or rather failed to not ask for. This is a toolbar featuring the Ask search engine, with icons for "My Stuff", "Zoom", "News", "Weather", "Shopping", and other completely useless stuff. How do I make it go away? Is there any way of finding out what caused it to be installed so I can let them know what I think of them and their product? tanstaafl. _________________________ "There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch"

Restart Firefox. Ummm... my list only has two extensions: "Download Accelerator Plus", and "Talkback." There isn't anything about the Ask Toolbar.
